I've slowed down like this before against players that I worried could blow me off my hand on this type of board. I'm not sure that it's correct, but I like your plan for the hand. Does the money we make longterm from this play when he is bluffing outweigh the risk of paying off/letting him catch a pair?

I guess we don't need to worry about him catching a pair since we like every card above 9, and it's unlikely he called the flop with unpaired undercards. He probably never folds an underpair either, so we don't need to worry about missing out on him folding those to a turn bet.
