What makes a stop-and-go work is position. If you wanna call and push any flop, you need to be able to act first. Were you in the SB (well...you would have pushed), this could work. With you in the BB, Mr. super-aggressive may decide to put you all in acting first on the flop, and then you lose the chance to force him out.

The merit to the "call/push any flop" plan is that, preflop, the aggressor might like his hand too much to fold, but after the flop, he might not. The key, however, is that you be able to act first. So I'm not sure I like call/push any flop, I think based on your read, you need to push preflop or fold.
