Sam, do you really think the bet size on the turn is good? The pot is a little over 3,000 after hero's bet, so villain, looking at a call of 725, is getting better than 4:1 actual pot odds to hit an OESD, with hero having another 820 left for purposes of calculating the implied odds. Seems like a correct call on the villain's part; I think pushing on 4th is better.
Of course, this analysis is with 20/20 hindsight, knowing that the villain is on an OESD. Looking at that board, and the betting pattern, I don't think I ever would have put villain on an 89, so the turn bet of 725 looks like a good bet size to induce villain to bleed more chips to the set of A's. Why doesn't this game ever have concrete answers.....?
