I don't like it. No limit is a game where the money can go in regardless to the size of the pot. All you're doing is costing yourself an extra big blind and revealing the strength of your hand if anyone's perceptive. The only time I see it as a possible move is when the players are very weak tight and will not pay much to see a flop and check/fold when they do.
