Agree, he has high cards most of the time KQ or AJ. The more his raise percentage differs from his VPIP the more likely he will be to cold call pairs, the more TAG the guy the more he usually knows to isolate with medium pairs or fold.

edit: just saw 27/15 stats for button and that's getting to where you will see more cold calling with pairs, but that's more just to keep in mind as a real possibility, as opposed to a 23/19 guy who is going to have pocket pairs here just about never. If the 23/19 guy pops you on the flop and he is anything but completely straightforward, I'd pretty much want to see a showdown barring broadway cards that miss you on turn and river. If your villain in this hand raises you on the flop you'll have to peel and make a tough choice.
