Side-action will be very good at the Grand too I suspect.

Tunica in Jan is different than Tunica in any other time of year.
All those extra tables for the WSOP-circuit will be attracting a lot of fish.

horseshoe will be good too of course...but I don't think it's an automatic that the side-game action will be better there throughout January (just guessing though...I may be wrong).

I played at the Grand side-game action in August during the smaller WSOP-circuit event they had there and found it to be quite fishy.
I expect it to be even fishier this time around.

Also - if you want the side-game action at Horseshoe you don't HAVE to be staying there.
Gold Strike, Horseshoe and Sheraton are all practically adjacent to each other.

The rooms at Sheraton are quite nice imo (they are all jacuzzi-suites) and it's an extremely easy walk to GS or HS.
