Default 2/5 MGM Grand Hand - Grandstanding on the river

This hand was the source of controversy / discussion for two hours afterward. I wasn't involved. Here's what happened.

Guy in EP ( ~$515) opens for $25.
MP woman ( ~$600) calls.
LP calls.

I had only been at the table for 30 minutes, and my early impression was that they ( EP & MP) were both decent players, both fairly TAG. I suspect they viewed each as TAG's at the time as well.

3 see the flop. Pot ~$80.

Jd-6c-9d

EP bets $90. MP calls. Lp folds.

Pot ~$260.

Turn 4d. Board JT64, 3 diamonds.

EP bets $200, MP calls.

Pot ~$660.

River a blank, like 2c.

EP checks. MP puts him in for his last $200. He's getting almost 9/2 on the call.

EP goes into tank, then shows black JJ and tries to gauge her response. She responds by turning over one card, the 6 diamonds, then walking over to her friend/boyfriend? in seat 7 and giving him a victory hug. After a while, she calls the clock, and EP finally folds . She didn't show her other card.

The table was split over whether she had the flush or 66.

EP explained later he felt she had the flush, as she would have protected her set at some point with a raise.

Interested in other's thoughts on his read. What would you do?

Also, my inclination, without any previous hand experience with this woman, would be to make my decision based on her betting patterns, not the showing of the 6d / victory hug etc.

I don't play live much an am interested in other comments on 1) his laydown and 2) how you interpret the showing of the 6d.

PS how do you drag the suit icons into the text?
