Default Re: How do you get Verizon broadband for 60 bucks?

he's referring to the verizon card for laptops which is called their 'broadband access' plan.
lots of TV commercials running for it (the guy trying to work on his laptop in the crowded coffee-shop).

in select cities, you get broadband-access no matter where you are in the city.the whole city is a giant hot-spot essentially.

in non-major-markets you connect via digital-cellular which is about 2x speed of dial-up and works fine for internet-poker (this is all i'm able to get in memphis..but i'm hoping they get the broadband-access soon).
i think the broadband access is in about 40 different cities in the U.S. or so.

on my last trip out of town i was easily able to play in the car (during the times my GF was driving of course).
a little tough when the sun is shining on the screen though.

i got broadband-access once we hit Washington DC....and was the 'national-access' (digital-cellular) most of the way there.
