Default Re: Words/phrases you use all the [censored] time!

"Blatantly"

"Make-'em-sick"

Can be used in nearly any situation, i.e., "That was a make-'em-sick hamburger," or, "Pedro Martinez has a make-'em-sick curveball."

Funny story of how that one got started...a friend of mine who's known for coining new phrases was playing Madden when he discovered that you could distract your opponent as he was attempting a field goal by rapidly zooming in and out. This tactic became known as "Make-'em-sick" (you know, cause the other guy to get dizzy and confused) and it stuck.

"A meh" (in high-pitched voice)

"A meh" has come to mean "goodbye" among some of my friends...they might very well go to Hell for this, but they started it after a mentally-disabled kid they know said something that sounded like "A meh" everytime he tried to say "goodbye." I don't think they're trying to be intentionally hateful though...maybe it's more like a tribute.
