one thing i learned from Harrington's book is that these kind of LAGs are looking for easy pots to take and will generally muck to resistance (unless they have a real hand.) especially w/ A7s, I want to reraise preflop to take it down right there -- if he calls your raise you will define his hand a little more.

Given how things happened, I would probably muck -- if I felt he was really just playing with me, I think you have two options -- come over the top again on the flop (although this will cost you about a 1/3rd of your stack,) or call the flop, call the turn, and reevaluate things on the river. i'm not really sure which line is best.
