yeah, i think the turn was my obvious mistake. here's a little about what i was thinking -
BB has led out on some stupid stuff. i thought that if i raised the flop, he'd only lead out again on the turn with either a jack or a seven in hand, and i'd get away from the hand cheaply.
I thought mp2 was on a draw. when the 8 hit on the turn, i thought most likely that bb leading and mp2 raising meant
1.) bb had a 7
2.) mp2 made a straight (since the 8 would have made the gutter for T9).
i should've raised the turn, no doubt. it's one of those many things i do and then regret immediately after. once mp2 raised, i figured i could cap both streets.
i'm still debating whether or not i should've slowed down anywhere: as mp2 continued to raise, i thought i was up against maybe 87 or J7. with the 3rd nuts, i thought the best play was to keep going.
