I still think what I said has some merit, depending on how tight or passive any particular table happens to be.
Otherwise 3bbl + a few chips for the sake of varying my bets is how I usually approach the raises.
the 3bb is fine, and yours too are fine, any deviation from that should be for tight/passive tables
