Default Re: SNG results after 15 tournaments, review?

[ QUOTE ]
15 is definitely a small sample size, but not uber small.

The early results look like I have a knack for them..

$5+$1 - 11 tournies - 4 1st, 2 2nd, 1 3rd
$10+1 - 2 tournies - 1 1st
$20+2 - 1 tourney - 2nd
$30+3 - 1 tourney - 1st

ROI% - 179.72
Finish in the money - 66.67%
Average Finish - 3.6 (I went out in 9th once with KK, guy with J/T caught a straight )

Once again these are ultra small numbers, but look very promising?

UATrewqaz,

This is the nicest reply you'll receive from your post so please listen carefully. Congrats on your first 15 tournies, that ROI is awesome! But 15 tournies IS "uber small". When looking for statistical relevence, there is really no diference between 15 and ONE. You're going to find this hard to believe, but you need hundreds and hundreds of tournies before before you can begin to draw any conclusions.

Also, please accept my apologies if this is insulting but by your statistics, it looks like you may have played a few 5's and had some luck, a $10 and had some luck, etc. PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATELY and move back to the 5's! You are headed for a crash course if you continue to move up buy-in's after playing and winning only one SNG at a certain level. If this assessment is off-base and you have actually played a bazillion $5's - again, I apologize. If not, I implore you to move back down immediately.

Again, congrats on the kick-azz finishes.
