Default Re: PLO and PLO8 Theories

Felicia,

I've done some thinking on this issue as well and have come to the conclusion that my aggressiveness or lack of aggressiveness comes from the table that I am currently playing.

When I'm online playing 2/4 1/2 kill at UB, I tend to go into the trapping mode that you spoke of. These players think they are pretty good. They will do the raising for me and then I can pounce. (I see 24% of flops...when I get above 28%, I get in trouble.)

When I'm playing live, I can get away with seeing many more hands and play them much faster since the opponents are weaker. (It is not unheard of for me to see 100% of the flops in a four hour period.)

My live games are MUCH more profitable than the online games.

I have found that I do not have the temperament to play PLO8 (and I'm ok with that). I hate loosing a whole stack with the second nut flush.

Good luck (with the poker and the chemo)

Dave
