Maybe.
But in the televised hand you can hear muttering something like "well...I probably could have played that better" or something like that.

He seemed to me that he was perfectly aware that he screwed up the hand big-time and let the 22 draw-out on him.

agreed - he took the beat as well as one could ask and certainly acknowledged that he played the hand poorly.
