Default Re: bad slowplay

There are A LOT of opponents at higher stakes that limp UTG where I raise this in order to try to isolate. I would strongly consider it here against this one (but you didn't give a read, you may not need one but I have never played .5/1 6 max).

This is .5/1 and in addition it is a 4 way pot. You are not stupid to slowplay this here because you may lose this pot if you do (That isn't all the big of a catastrophe as it is only a 4 SB pot) but you are missing a ton of bets here that bozos regardless of the hand they have will call at this level. Players at this level need not a pair or even a mediocre draw to call your flop bet. Even if they did there are str8 draws and decent high cards to pair up the wazoo that these players want to call your bets with. Get your money in there in order to get their money. Further your hand isn't all that strong. There exists OESD possiblities here that you could bet against for value and some gutshot draws that a simple bet would do well to protect your hand. What happens if a T or A (which as well as completing a str8 could give someone a better two pair) hits on the turn and there is a bet and raise in front of you? But yeah, its mostly dumb because you are missing value.
