Re: Review 12 Hands for Preflop Play . . .
Disclaimer: I suck.
Hand 1: I'd make a standard raise to 250-300, though if blinds are going up soon just push.
Hand 2: Standard raise? Call if shorty moves in behind you.
Hand 3: fold. your position sucks.
Hand 4: fold? The blinds are large stacked enough to be able to call a wide array of hands. You're not desperate for blinds. I think there are better spots to steal.
Hand 5: I'm pretty sure this is an auto-push.
Hand 6: I have no idea. I'd probably fold but I think a lot of people would advocate a push.
Hand 7: limps and plays for set value. It's too early to get tricky.
Hand 8: I'd fold? You might be beating him, but a lot of hands behind you could be beating you ... I'm probably wrong.
Hand 9: Standard raise, and you'll take it down most of the time. A push isn't terrible but may induce a "curious call."
Hand 10: Folds. There is a severe short stack. Wait out the bubble or wait for a more premium hand.
Hand 11: Open pushes, and I'm pretty sure this isn't even close.
Hand 12: ditto.
