Its quite funny but the best movies adapated to screenply from Stephen King were his short stories and those movies are all great.

Seriously, thanks to my exhaustive research(1) I have determined that this movie is essentially feel-good palaver for yuppie assholes.
Also have I mentioned that Stephen King can't write for crap?
