I have reviewed most of these books at:

If you want in-depth perspectives on these books you might want to check that out.

For strategy:
Fundamentals of Poker (would love a response from Mr. Malmuth)
[/ QUOTE ]
I doubt this helps you much.
[ QUOTE ]
Gambling Theory and Other Topics (etc..)
[/ QUOTE ]
Excellent.
[ QUOTE ]
Gambling for a Living (etc, Sklansky)
Poker, Gaming, and Life (etc, Sklansky)
[/ QUOTE ]
Both worth reading, but not my 2+2 favorites. If you want to learn all games, I recommend substituting "Sklansky on Poker" and/or the "Poker Essays" series.

Getting the best of it (etc, Sklansky)
[/ QUOTE ]
Worthwhile, but there are others I'd get first.
[ QUOTE ]
The Tao of Poker
[/ QUOTE ]
If you're only going to get on Phillips book, I liked Zen a lot better. See my reviews for a deeper perspective.
[ QUOTE ]
How good is your pot-limit omaha
[/ QUOTE ]
Haven't read it.
[ QUOTE ]
How to win at omaha high-low poker
[/ QUOTE ]
I think I'd skip this one in this pass.
[ QUOTE ]
Winning Omaha/8 poker
Seven card stud for advanced players
High/low split poker, Seven card stud and Omaha eight or better for the advanced player (Zee)
Inside the Poker mind
The Psychology of Poker
Harrington on Hold-em 1 and 2
[/ QUOTE ]
All good choices.

For recreational reading:
Bad Beats and Lucky Draws
The Professor, The banker, and the suicide king.

There are books out there that are more entertaining, IMHO, than Hellmuth's book. I like PBSK, though. Instead of BBLD, I might suggest "One of a Kind" by Dalla and Alston.
This should keep you busy for a while.
Feel free to add more books that I should buy.
