And why would he want to gamble that much of it away in one shot? My guess is this, there are detail about this thing that we don't know about yet, or they will get sponsors to cover each players buy in, maybe up to 9 million or something like that. This thing just makes next to no sense.

I don't know about the sponsorship. Like somebody said in another thread, it would be far more than even a Super Bowl commercial.
