Check-raising all-in on 4th has the following 2 drawbacks:
1 - If he is drawing to the nut flush he can check for a free card
2 - You are putting all of your chips on the line with the BB still at 15 and a very dangerous board.
A possible senario here is that he has Jacks, and he's worried about the hearts too (called flop, raise 2/3 pot on 4th) and your all-in scared him into believing that you were not drawing at the flush, but you had already made it.
If so, you may have gone all-in with the worst hand and gotten him to lay down.
This was a crafty play and a good read on ur opponent, but again, there is just something I do not like about making a check-raise on 4th that is ONLY going to be called if you are already beaten.
Leading out with a bet on 4th quantifies your hand (giving incorrect odds to the potential flush drawer too.) I'd let it go if he re-raised me. I'd rather live to play another hand.
