You are correct. Villain exhibits typical set miner 101 move here, check my monster then move it on the turn before someone out draws me.

Without a read, I call this. I would be wrong, but I hate laying down AA on a dry-non Broadway board. I see too many comedians trying to run over your "AK" here to be able to lay it down.
