You need a bankroll that big to keep the chance of losing it all under 20%. I wouldn't think of doing it without a bank 20x that size.
Wait until you start slapping down your "big player" max bets, and the dealer flips a couple of Ten Up blackjacks in a row on you, or every time you get a good max bet count you immediately get dealt a hard 16. Drop a couple of grand doing that, and then we will talk about variance.
Most big players look for "surrender" as the most ideal rule, for the above reason. That way you only lose your money half as fast! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
