I like how back in the late 70s and early 80s for the first Star Wars movies, ET, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc. it would be like "Now playing in its 18th amazing week!!!" These days the movies are in and out in a week and on DVD the next month.

I totally remember that. Huge ads in the newspaper - "HELD OVER for an astonishing 26th week ... CROCIDILE DUNDEE!!!"
