Re: AK flops KK6 gets heavy betting, yahoo!!!
Don't take this personally - I'm only saying this to help.
The way you played this hand sucks.
1. Your preflop raise was too small. Two players limped in front. This calls for a minimum raise to $1.25.
2. You need to either bet $2.50 to $3 on the flop (best) or check raise (not a great idea, but once in a while doesn't hurt.
a) If he calls your small bet, he's got direct pot odds (clearly he has the necessary implied odds) to draw to a flush, though it is a paired board.
b) You've got a great hand. You need to build a pot with it.
3. The check-miniraise on the turn is terrible. Lead the turn for at least half the pot. 3/4 is better. If you're going to check raise, do it all-in. Check raising here is a bad idea, though. If he checks behind, there are a lot of bad cards out there - like almost any club or diamond - and you gave him the free card.
This is big bet poker. Play it that way.
