Default Re: Skins were only 3.6% of Party\'s poker revenue.

Stox,

Just for the record, and to clear up any confusion you might have, and do some extrapolating and clear thinking...

Empire 3rd quarter revenue (note thats 3 months) from poker was $23million. (we could estimate 6 months all skins poker revenue at around 120 million or less) [which is the basis for calling the skins the #3 poker room]

The skins kept roughly 90% of the rake attributable to their players (as an affiliate you should certainly understand why this number would have to be very high to make being a skin worth their while).

Empire operating margin (ie profit) after all expenses is roughly 50%. Party's is around 58%.

As I mentioned in another post, if Party was really smart, they would entice "all players that want to remain on the skins" to play thru PokerNow (which they now own) rather than thru Empire or the other skins... stay tuned! (oh, and if you were a really smart affiliate, you would be figuring out how to help them do this)

Imagine the impact of PartyGaming running the #1 and #2 poker room.
