Default Re: Party poker bad beat jackpot

I don't play in the bad beat games - never have tho I probably should pop in for a look once in awhile.

The criteria you should be using for whether or not it's worth paying a higher rake (extra half dollar ?) has nothing to do with the actual size of the jackpot but should instead be based on the value your opponents put on it.

If 2 or more players at the table are - or appear to be - making anything more than the tiniest adjustment in their strategy due to the jackpot, drop what you're doing and jump in.

Actually hitting this miracle should take a back seat to the opportunity to feast on those who are playing huge longshots trying to hit it themselves.

If there are enough of these players I'd happily pay an extra 50 cents in rake even if I myself were prohibited from collecting if I hit it.
