I had a Dell 5150 with 17" UXGA (1600x1200). That worked pretty well, though it had problems with overheating (A Google search showed that you need to blow out the back with compressed air to clean the heat sink) and after 2 years, it died, possibly due to the mother board.

I wasn't able to run more than 2 Absolute or Cryptologic tables at a time without the system slowing down and crashing, but I could handle 4 tables from most sites.
