i used the OP's sweedish link and it told me that given my sd and current wr that id need a 361bb bankroll w/ a 99% confidence interval. it was off by 8bbs. bruce's site gives the same inputs a 369bb bankroll.

The OPs site only gives the bankroll for approximately a 1.1% risk of ruin, so if you input a risk of ruin of 1.1% on "my" site, of course you will get about the same answer. The issue is that this 1.1% is never stated on the OPs site, and this is not the bankroll to "assure a win". If you were expecting a 3 sigma bankroll (0.13% risk of ruin), you would have to multiply the bankroll it gives you by 1.48. It doesn't give the bankroll for any other risk of ruin, and the equation it is based on does not permit this to be done accurately.
