Default Re: Completely hidden quads

I've played a lot of stud in my day, and I've had hidden quads at least three times that I can think of, and have probably had them once or twice that I can't think of. This is over something like 2000 hours, and includes some stud/8 (not enough for my taste). I have twice had quads on fourth street, and I once made four Queens having started with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] .

Let me get this straight: you had pocket Aces, brought it in for the minimum, a King raises, everyone calls, and you don't pop it? For the love of Pete, what does it take for you to bet a hand? You just have to pop it in this spot.

One of the nicest feelings in the world is when you start with pocket Aces and spike a third Ace on fourth street. I think it's been close three years since this happened to me. No, really.
