They haven't ever won the world cup finals but have very good players and what many consider to be the best domestic league in the world. I don't think that anyone is underestimating them at all, its pretty much a garuntee that they will make it to the quarters and end up screwing themselves. They weren't that impressive at Euro 2004 and I think this Spanish Team is weaker then the one that got screwed by the ref at WC2002
