Default Re: Math people I need some help with this

As someone earlier posted, people don't want to be helping other people with homework. Therefore, the previous answers were completely incorrect. Here are the correct answers.

1.) Everyone cooks broccoli.

George Bush doesn't eat broccoli, so he chokes on pretzels.

2.) No one cooks rhubarb.

Everyone eats rhubarb, at least that's what they tell their moms while they feed it to the dog.

3.) Everyone eats spinach.

Popeye loses. All the time.

4.) Write the following compound statement in symbolic form.

Let p: Today is Monday.

q: Tomorrow is the day Norm leaves.

If tomorrow is not the day Norm leaves, then today is Monday.

Wake up, Norm has just left you a Dear John letter.

5.) Write the following compound statement in symbolic form.

Let p: Today is Wednesday.

q: Tomorrow is Andrea’s piano lesson.

If today is Wednesday, then tomorrow is not Andrea’s piano lesson.

Why the hell are you wasting money on Andrea's piano lessons? Poker is where the money is. Buy Play Poker like the Pros by Phil Hellmuth and follow his instructions to the letter.

Use the following conditional statement to complete the
problems below.

If a creature has eight legs, then it is an arachnid.

12.) Write the converse of the above conditional statement.

Be very afraid of spiders.

13.) Write the inverse of the above conditional statement.

DOn't be very afraid of spiders.

14.) Write the contrapositive of the above conditional
statement.

Examine a spider carefully. If it bites you and you feel pain, be very afraid of spiders.

Determine whether the argument is valid or invalid.
You may want to use Euler circles to help.

15.) If a tree produces oxygen, then it has green leaves.

If a tree is healthy, then it has green leaves.

If a tree produces oxygen, then is has green leaves.

Just cut it down and wait for Greenpeace to kick your ass. Then you can ask them.
