In journalism terminology, you buried the lead. Sounds like a foray into poker is a strong draw for you, but you still have your foot firmly jammed in the college door (your GPA is good)...so as long as you stick to your pledge to not miss out on a degree, what's the problem?
And what's with the engineering girls? At my school there was just one really hot one and she was playing for the other team...sheesh.
