My default play is to fold when the "x" is 7 or smaller when the raiser is UTG or UTG+1. If I'm going to play, I'd prefer to re-raise the opener (so as to get head-to-head if possible), and I'd prefer a kicker that has some chance of holding up if it pairs.

The later the position of the opener the more likely I am to call with AXs as chances of the A-high holding up becomes greater (fewer players, plus a larger number of hands without an Ace that the opener might have).
