1st hand: Depends on your opponent here but I think most people would not give you credit for a ten or an 8 here thinking "would he raise and call a re-raise here with a 10 or 8 in his hand?" (I know you would, but that's besides the point). So I think you're going to have a tough time pushing off any good hand here (JJ-AA and maybe even 99) making the bluff questionable.
Hand 2: Nice spot-he checked the flop so you doubt he's got too good of a hand and if he had a hand on the turn he would've raised to get clubs out. That 4 almost definitely missed him and I'd say he's bluffing and will fold.
