Yeah, but that guy was a dick first by making jokes about him being "queer". I can see a friend saying something like that, but it seems from the tone of the post it was said in a derogatory way.

yeah thats true, but steve is his boss and if a worker is out of line that is not how a boss should respond. just because someone calls you a bad name doesnt mean you should respond negatively that way.
