ALthough the villain was kind of an idiot in the final hand he eventually had the odds to call, it looks like, esp. if he thought he had that A as an over. Bad luck on that one.
On the AK, I think you can get away from that. He could have had the set, like he did, but also KQ, K8, K4. That would have been a pretty nice laydown, but you have to think that he has something pretty darn good the way he bets right off the bat. I think you definitely can get away at the river, for sure, if not on the flop and turn.
