Default Re: Is this realistic poker plan

Are you going to start a business of poker players? I'm assuming a 5 day work week for this. BB/100 is also heuristic.

If I screw up any numbers, let me know pls (Probability forum might be better for this post).
If you look at it by person:
Week 1) 5 days * 3 hours * 60 hands/hr per table * 2 tables = 1800 hands/week. If you're at 1.5 bb/100 hands, that would imply $108 per person.

So week 2) 5 day * 3 hours * 60hand/table/hr * 3 tables = 2700 hands/wk. With the same winrate thats $162 per person

Week 3 and 4 are the same number of hands (3600 hands/wk) implies $216 per person.

So at this point your profit should be $486/person. Of course each person has played around 11,700 hands (~93,600 hands among the 8 of you). This all balances on the assumption that as a group, your winrate is 1.5bb/100.

After buying your new monitors you are starting 4/8 with basically the same bankroll that you started 2/4.

You arent really making any money according to those numbers the first month. Hope nobody needs to pay the rent. It would be interesting if any resident pros or serious semipros chip in to mention how many hands they play a week.
