I sort of wonder that myself... I sincerely hope this team approach of yours in no way involves anything collusive.
I think it is a very good idea to have fellow players to discuss hands with, and I also think it's an excellent idea to have a strategy for what limits you plan to play, how often you'll play, how much time you'll devote to studying hands and so on. Getting too careful about such planning though will not help you that much and it's far more important to focus on the actual tactical considerations of how to play the game.
