I like a call here. If you push and are called than you are either behind or a coin flip. By playing the hand slower, he also gives his opponent more chances to make a mistake. TT is a good hand to play against a single opponent in position.

The main reason that I play it slow is that I'm in position and want to use it for effectiveness. I assume that Curtains is the better of the two poker players and should be using his post-flop skills. Even though a card higher than a Ten will fall on the flop more than 50% of the time, I'm not overly worried if an Ace doesn't fall. By playing the hand slower, he also gives his opponent more chances to make a mistake.
