Default Re: Raise on the Flop v. Aggressive player

[ QUOTE ]

why did you call preflop?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because about 10-15% of the time when he open/raises 2-3 spots from the BB, it's with 78s etc. Any pair 77 or higher also.

[/ QUOTE ]why are you raising the flop when he "NEVER" lets you make this play?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because he knows that I know that he never lets his opponent get away with that......

[ QUOTE ]
I think you should have capped the flop and taken a free turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

The only way I would have got a free card, is if the spade came.

[ QUOTE ]
this is a pretty easy read for him IMO, only other possible hand for you to have is KQs which you are capping the flop with all day long I assume.

also with the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in his hand and the Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the board his turn raise is very easy. it is much more likely to be a simple value raise than a test as he can put you on JTs and he's a 3-1 favorite. what two spades can you coldcall with besides JTs?? KJ? see what I mean?

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh yes! I shall not play this situation this bad again. Promise. [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
