Some dealers announce how many players see the flop, some dont. I think its good thing to do, but I also think its not that bad not to do it. After the flop its players responsibility to know whos in and whos not.
A good dealer talks - a bad one talks too much or not at all. Telling players everything that happens at the table is just too much, but not announcing anything is just lazy. Ofcourse dealer in table with 6 pros can just shut up. Good dealer can read the game and talks just that much.
