I'm trying to improve my shorthanded play to do this. Can you give me an idea roughly how many players are usually at a table, and how often you have to switch tables?

Also, do you have any tips for someone learning shorthanded play? I've studied the section in King Yao's book and memorized some starting hands I found on the Internet, but I'm still having trouble beating the Party 6-max tables, even at the lowest limits (I'm a consistent winner in full ring).
