Default Re: I\'m considering being a Poker dealer and need advice to get started

Hi! I run a poker dealing school in Colorado and hopefully can steer you in the right direction on pitch and rewards for dealing proper poker as I call it If you can, get with a dealer friend or attend a poker dealing class as learning how to pitch from reading a book is like learning how to dance from someone explaining it to you vs showing The Professional Dealers Handbook from 2+2 is a requirement for my students as it teaches you self awareness while dealing plus expactations of what players want from you as a professional dealer. Dealing can be very rewarding monetary wise and can help you understand the game much better if you plan on playing professionally in some point of your career. Also, most casino's now prefer that you start from the bottom (dealing) to moveup thru thier management system in the poker room. If you have any questions about money that can be made or any other questions related to learning poker dealing feel free to PM me as I check my messages daily. Hope this helps and take care
