the game can be ridiculous and filled with bad plays left and right.

This is my definition of a good game.

Anyway to answer your question . . . why do you play poker?

If you play poker to have a good time, the question is will you have a good time playing 2-4 with a $200 bankroll. If the answer is yes, then by all means you should go and play.

On the other hand, if your going to be miserable playing in that game, stay home.

If you play to make money, I think you should build your roll before you return to playing. Its tough to beat the rake on a $2-$4 game to begin with. Add the fact that the game often has wild play which creates a large variance which is never good for a small bankroll.
