This is only true in the long term if you think that the equity they cost themselves is being evenly distributed among all of the remaining players evenly. If you're pushing more than your fair share of those remaining players, which should probably be the case, you're going to be losing a fair amount of equity yourself, since you're up against somebody who is a little too loose. So I don't think it's the case that that guy is helping you, unless you adjust, which of course you can do.
