100% correct. You are damaging your bankroll growth by continuing to play. One of the most important things any poster here will tell you is that table selection is extremely important.

But of what import is bankroll growth at micro limits? Any decent McJob will replenish a micro bankroll in a week.
I bring this up to ask, is there anything to learn (cheaply) at the rock gardens? Is it better to learn now, when it's cheap, or to wait til I get to 10-20 to learn it? I would think that if you can beat rocks now, you'll move up faster in the future.
