I don't force myself to play, ever. If I don't feel like playing, I don't.
It's important to keep other interests in your life, even if you play poker professionally. There's a whole bunch of stuff I like doing. It keeps me fresh and active, so when I do play poker I enjoy it and don't feel as though I have to "force" it.
That said, I do set goals for how many hands I'm going to play in a week, because I do have some monetary goals I want to achieve. But even so, if I don't feel like playing, I do something else.
And I enjoy playing. Most of the time. I don't think poker is "pretty gay".
