I haven't posted a hand in a while. This one was a little uncomfortable.

Just sat down, I have $100. Stars 100NL, 9 players.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50. BB Posts a blind of $1.00. 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.50, 2 folds, MP calls $3.50, LP calls $3.50, 3 folds.

Flop (3 players, $12.00): 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets $9, 1 fold, LP raises to $20, Hero ... ?

Plan? If you would call, what's your plan for the turn & river assuming nobody improves? Assuming I improve? Assuming the board gets scarier?

Edit to add that both preflop opponents cover me.

I'm folding here, Grunch. Hero's position here plus the low likelihood of Hero improving makes this a situation where you will win the minimum when you win and lose the maximum when you lose.

The only other line I could see is call the Villain's flop raise and lead the turn for 2/3. Shutdown if called. Fold if raised. I still think folding the flop is a better choice in the longrun.
