I agree. Stop-n-go tends to work when villain is scared by overcards. Any flop that scares villain here more than likely hit your hand. I think you want all your chips in pre-flop here. Villain raising 1/3 of his stack is suspicious, but I don't think you can put him on a tight enough range to justify a fold.
